Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) Test

The TABE test is restricted to applicants seeking admission to the Pharmacy Technician program at Southwest which begins each fall semester. Students are required to submit results from the TABE test as part of the admissions process.

Examinees must pay a $10 non-refundable/non-transferable fee in the Cashier's Office and pre-register in person in the Testing Center by noon of the day preceding the test.

Scores are available upon completion of the exam.

Prospective candidates for the Pharmacy Technician Program can only take the TABE test a maximum of two (2) times per semester. It is recommended that students wait a minimum of fourteen days (14 days) before attempting to retake the test. This will allow the prospective candi date the opportunity to refresh themselves of subject matter covered by the test.

2014-15 TABE Testing Dates

All TABE tests have been administered for entrance to Fall 2014 classes. Testing dates for Fall 2015 tests will be forthcoming.
