[Admissions Requirements] [Testing Requirements] [Advising]
Note: The printable application requires Adobe Reader.
Note: The following testing requirements may not be applicable to students who are only seeking technical certificates.
Readmission students have previously attended Southwest, but have not enrolled for a consecutive fall or spring term. If all admissions requirements were submitted during a previous enrollment period and no college or university has been attended since separation from Southwest, only the application for readmission should be completed.
A transient student is one who is enrolled at another institution and plans to enroll at Southwest for one semester and then return to the home institution.
Testing is required of all degree seeking students and students desiring to register for English or Mathematics courses, or courses with English or Mathematics pre-requisites.
Please refer to the Testing Center website for additional information.
All currently enrolled and readmission students with declared majors should contact the appropriate academic department to schedule an appointment for academic advising. If additional assistance is needed contact the office of Advising and Counseling.
Non-degree and undecided students may contact the office of Advising and Counseling for assistance with course selection and declaration of a major.
New students should contact the office of Advising and Counseling to schedule an appointment for academic advising.
